Series Recap – Oakland A’s

Texas RangersThe Rangers hit the road after a long home stand where they won each series and finished the series by winning five of the last six games. They now get into some division play and this is where they can ingrain themselves into the race for the AL West. This isn’t a make or break series, but losing valuable ground with all the injuries could dig a hole to deep to get out of. The Rangers need to find a way to win this series to be in the hunt from the early going.

4/21 – Darvish vs. Straily: Rangers 4 – Athletics 3 – The Rangers let the A’s get an early lead on them and struggled to get run support for the starter Darvish, but they used the old tride and true method of chip away. And they chipped away to take the lead late in the game and got their sixth win in seven games.
