Early Look at Louisiana 2014 Schedule

Louisiana Rajin' CajunsThe Louisiana Rajin’ Cajuns are are coming off a 9-4 record, a Sun Belt championship and have won the last three R&L Carriers New Orleans Bowl games. So, needless to say, Coach Mark Hudspeth has turned the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns into a good program and has them on the winning track. But once again the expectations will be higher going into 2014 and the conference looks to be tougher this year than it has in past years.

The Cajuns will be led by returning starter Junior quarterback Terrance Broadway, but they will have a tough slate of games to start the season with games against Louisiana Tech, Ole Miss and Boise State, the latter two will be road games. Then they have to jump into conference play and they will have a target on their back after last year.

This team could meet last years win total, or they could fall off the map all together, but a realistic look at the schedule, they could have eight or nine wins this year and that should have them in position to win their conference. If they will the conference this year, that will probably put them in line for a fourth straight New Orleans bowl.
