Cowboys DestinyThe Dallas Cowboys are facing a tough test on Sunday against the Colts on Sunday, but they have the biggest carrot of recent history in front of them. If they continue to win, and can stay ahead of the Philadelphia Eagles, they will win the NFC East and end a playoff drought. The Colts have already earned a playoff spot, and will most likely rest key guys to prevent injuries. This sets up well for the Cowboys since they are still playing for their post season lives. Upcoming games could be big for Cowboys

The Cowboys are facing a tough stretch in their upcoming schedule with three games in 12 days. Two of those three games are going to be on the road, and it will be a tough road especially, because while the Cowboys seem healthy, Romo’s back could be in danger with these upcoming games.

While he has been a tough commissioner to end off the field issues, it is this latest batch of domestic violence stories which have seemed to send him cowering into the corner.

The Tarnished Shield

When Roger Goodell took over as commissioner he came out and decided to be an “iron fisted” authority figure. He wanted to “protect the shield” and keep all off the field activities to a minimum. At the beginning it seemed to work and things got quiet on the off the field front, but lately, things have been bad for the commissioner and the NFL.
