The Texas A&M Aggies are undefeated for the first time since 1994. Take a moment and let that sink in…
The upset of a top ten Tennessee team has started wheels turning for a Surprising Aggie football team. Which had no expectations coming into 2016.
While the Aggies have been a moderately successful team since entering the Southeastern Conference. They have never been undefeated and a strong-looking team at the same time. Could this really be the year for the hopeless Aggies?
The Aggies are going into a bye week this week. But with games coming up against Alabama, New Mexico State, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, UT- San Antonio and LSU. They have their work cut out for them. Unfortunately they will have to play Alabama and Mississippi State on the road, while the remaining games are at home.
If the A&M can get past the juggernaut of Alabama, and find a way to beat Mississippi State and Ole Miss, they will go into an end of year meeting with LSU. And the Tigers have a history of beating the Aggies.
But as most Texas college football fans can attest. Nothing is more sickening than an Aggie fan when they have a winning program. See the Johnny Manziel years. So, it will be safe to say the entire state of Texas will be rooting against the Aggies from here on out. Just to save themselves from dealing with the Aggies in their life.
If you take a realistic look at their history. It is a sure bet they will choke at least one game up and probably lose 3 or more. If that is the case, then you will be looking at Kevin Sumlin having an inferno under his chair.
We will just have to wait and see how this season finishes out.
